European Style Smoked Salmon
Our smoked salmon has the taste, look and texture of fresh salmon. We want the cure and smoke to enhance the natural qualities of the salmon, rather than the opposite as we find too often in other products.
We start with the best salmon that we can reliably obtain year round. Our salmon comes from the very cold waters of the North Atlantic off the British Isles, where the Atlantic meets the North Sea. Our salmon is carefully produced using only sustainable aquaculture techniques.
We dry cure this salmon in only pure salt and a splash of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon. The natural sweetness of the bourbon offsets the salt cure and adds a hint of charred oak from the barrels in which the bourbon is aged. After curing, we lightly smoke the salmon in natural oak smoke.
Our smoked salmon uses four natural and traditional ingredients ñ just salmon, salt, bourbon and oak smoke.
After smoking, we hand slice and vacuum package Just Curedís smoked salmon in order to deliver the freshest product possible to you. Our smoked salmon is always fresh and has never been frozen.
