Michael Brown has spent over 20 years honing his passion for traditional methods of making fine foods. This passion progressed from casual hobby to serious hobby to new career.
In 2008, Michael left his career as a large-firm corporate transactions lawyer to begin and develop Just Cured. Michael transferred the zeal with which he represented large and small business clients to producing the finest smoked and cured foods. We trust that Michaelís passion and attention to detail show in our products.
When asked about the challenges of his transition from lawyer to entrepreneur, Michael quips ìthe salmon are much more compliant in accepting my advice ñ on the other hand, I really miss the intellectual challenges that involved and interested clients offered me. The biggest difference is going from being an advisor to having ultimate responsibility for the success of the business ñ and I wake up every day excited about the prospects for Just Cured.î
