About Just Cured
Just Cured is the realization of Michael BrownĂs passion for fine foods and traditional methods of making those foods. Established in 2008, Just Cured is developing a full line of traditional cured and smoked foods. Just Cured will use only the finest fish and meats in its products and will produce its cured and smoked products using only time-honored techniques.
Just Cured operates a purpose built production facility adjacent to historic Findlay Market in the Over the Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our location is an important part of who we are and what we hope to accomplish. For more than 150 years, Over the Rhine has been home to artisan brewers, bakers, butchers and producers of other traditional foods. After the First World War, Over the Rhine began a decline that continued until recently.
Today, Over the Rhine is enjoying a resurgence. A major part of that renewal is centered around Findlay Market and involves small producers of local and artisanal foods. Just Cured is pleased to be a part of that effort and looks forward to being part of the continued success of this once, and once again, proud neighborhood.
